Requirement for SigNature DNA Marking on FSC 5962 Microcircuits
As of December 2013:
– DLA has let 1,000+ Awards with DNA marking
– 500,000+ DNA marked parts in circulation
This policy requires contractors to provide items that have been marked wit h botanically-generated DNA marking material produced by Applied DNA Sciences or it’s authorized licensees, if any. Effective November 15, 2012.
